Terrific work, as ever, Valeriy. It's a pity new the lovely details are almost hidden in the middle of all the other lovely detail!

That's as fine a model as ever came out of the famous ship builders model workshops in the mid-1900s. We hope you will take many close up photos when finished.

Privet Valery,

Just for curiosity, how did they swing the guns in casemates? The wires which holds the cover plates will interfere the moving gun, did they remove that wire in wartime?

Szia róka !

On the model, I showed a variant of opening the shutters of the gun port to ventilate the ship. Before the start of the battle, the gun hatch doors were fully opened.

I am very late to this thread. I had a pleasurable few hours looking at the thread from the very beginning. Please allow me to add to the chorus of approval from the MSW community. I can barely believe that a modeller of my very modest skill is sharing a forum with a master artist like yourself. Everything you do is excellent, or beyond excellent. It is almost a shame to see you cover up your beautiful metalwork with paint. Please do continue posting, and I would love to see your other projects.

Regards, Keith

Valerie, I was talking on the phone when your latest images popped up.....and I bit my tongue!

Marvelous, BRAVO!

Are your side rails twisted wire? I imagine they were chain on the ship?

You and your work are a lesson for us all. Thank you for sharing your long adventure; no doubt there will be others to test your resolve.

Stay safe during this 'season of goodwill'.
