I also decided to change wooden colour on the front staircases and painted them into red/vermillion to achieve better and probably more realistic result. Red colour  - vermillion was probably used on fitting on the real ship.

Your work have to be shown worldwide, Doris. Such a talent don´t come easy. A question - People ask about buying your work?

Surely many would like to buy a model so perfect and realistic ...... but it is priceless!

Doris,

Every time that I log onto your build, I now think of the movie Gravity in IMAX 3D (loved it) --and I think, "this can't be real, you must be posting images that are digital, and playing with our minds", but no! your work is real...

Your level of art is Amazing. On our planet you are mostly beyond comparison. An amazing pleasure for all of our eyes. Thank you.

Hello dear friends,

I am very honored reading your posts and feeling the support you devoted me. Thank you a lot for your kind words, I really appreciated them. Let me express my gratitude to you all.

Your work have to be shown worldwide, Doris. Such a talent don´t come easy. A question - People ask about buying your work?

Hello Vivian,

well, sometimes I get some offers, but i prefer to keep the models  - i build them for a pleasure and joy. Some of my ships I dedicated to my husband.

That's enough !

Tomorrow I'm gonna call the Maritime Museum in Rotterdam that there is a model that they really need for there collection !

Dear Sjors, you are so kind to me, but there are a lot of things, i should improve in my work to achieve really high quality of models. I am still learning.

Hi Doris,

Your model is gorgeous. I just noticed the smoke discoloration at the top of the stove chimney. Very nice touch!

Mark

Hello Mark,

I try to make some weathering for more realistic result. I used Tamiya "powder weathering" - it is easy to apply.

Doris,

Congratulations, I see that you have added successfully your build URL at the end or your page.

I went through 10-12 pictures of the Sovereign of the Seas, it is exquisite! again another beautiful model with such fine detail

Guy

Thank you very much for your advice, dear Guy, I think, now it is better and easily available to search.

To all: I admire your work a lot, it is a big inspiration for me and this forum - MSW has brought me a lot of priceless advice and a great support from kind and friendly people, who help me very much. Thank you for that.

Best regards

Doris

Doris,

You are saying that you are still learning.

I think it's the other way around !

We are learning from you !

Just take a look at the cleats....they are better then what they provide in a kit !!!!!

Your models would be the eye-catchers in a museum !

Just go on with the amazing builds of yours !
