It is amazing.

Before the village was phenomenal when you looked down the streets and at the assorted buildings and it was not hard to imagine ones self walking from place to place enjoying the architecture. Now the village is starting to show signs of life, and one almost expects to hear sounds of birds in the tree and the squeaking of the cart wheel being rolled down the street.

I find it nothing short of fascinating, and it is truly triggering my imagination into overtime. Thanks Ekis for the COVID free streets that are free to roam and enjoy.

Ekis,

It is amazing how much your landscaping improves what was already such a wonderful project. You definitely know what you’re doing. Is there one particular area you are most happy with the way it turned out so far? I am a little annoyed that I was patiently waiting for the weekend update and you sneak one in during the week! Thats not nice.

Thanks Kurt!
I'm sorry for posting this part out of time... 😁
Seriously, what I like is to control the whole process so that in the end, the pictures of the project seem very close to reality!
It means that not a single step, from the initial idea, through the construction and up to the weathering was missed. 🤪

You are doing more than fine with your  (quite honestly - museum standard work)  I can only hope that in a small way I can  step in your shadow with my diorama  when I get to that building stage.

Just Amazing my friend.

Hippo/pigs, eh?

I almost feel like I could run into a Knight Templar turning a corner in there. Great work, Ekis.

A hippopotamus in the south of France in the 14th, it would have been an attraction in the whole kingdom...! 🤣
But the pigs were very often black like these figurines.

Honorable Master, does your construction guild take on apprentices?

Inquiring minds want to know.... If your guild doesn't take on apprentices, you might want to reconsider.....

It looks as though the tavern might be open for a flaggon or two😁🍺🍺

I agree totally with this.  A quietly stunning village.

Love the work that you're doing here Ekis!  Your landscaping, details and photography set the village into a dream-like atmospheric state.  Not only are your modeling skills wonderful, but you have the eye of a true artist to understand what needs to be done to achieve that desired effect.  Very nice.
