A tough decision but I agree with many of your followers above - it's the right one in order to give your loved family friend a chance to enjoy the remaining days. I'm sure you will make every one of them special.

I'm saddened to hear about this, Kevin.  Dogs are family and for many, even closer in some ways.   Remember the good times and love the new pup.   The dogs know when we're sad and will help iwth healing though the missing them never goes away.

I'm sorry for your loss. I had to put my dog to sleep once. He was my only friend, standing by my side for 13 years, helping me endure my mental problems and giving me light in dark times, so I know what you feel.

They are not just dogs. They are family members and missing them hurts like hell.

I wish you strength in this dire time.

Hello Kevin, I just found this build log. Before I say anything else, my condolences for the loss of your loving companion. Our dogs make our lives complete in so many ways.

I am in awe of your modeling output and your skills, Kevin, and your Indefatigable is beautiful. But I have a question...where do you keep all of your ships?

Cheers!

Patrick

Morning @Patrick Haw nice to hear from you, in 2021 i moved out of the garage into the conservatory, and made a display area in the empty space, there are now far more models in there, but thats where they are nowadays
