My Victory will be back on the workbench by this weekend, intentions are to get her to a masting stage by the end of the year, (well its a plan anyway)

My list of things to do in the next few weeks, lol about 100 on it -which will take me to masting

1) finish port side gun-port lanyards and then repeat everything starboard

2) stern and bow decoration

3) rudder

4) rework all davits and lower mast booms

5) stern Gun ports (missed)

6) find a way to re-position all top side cannons so they are not taking up deck space

yep the BUZZ is back

well the Victory is back on the work bench, the available work space is going to be adequate for hull work - not so sure about height wise- i will worry about that another day

i am starting to catch up on some of the logs i used to follow, but have a nice long weekend ahead, Thursday night to tuesday

stbd side gunports

All lids removed apart from two - they dont want to play my game, some de bonder needed, or bigger gun-port removal tool

old lanyard pins removed, by drilling out

About 1/3 of new lanyards made,

1.5mm holes drilled into hull to take the uplift tubes

will touch up paintwork before i start to put it all back

good to be back

Good to see work on you Vic underway again Kevin. A tedious re-do job, but you'll be very pleased you did once it's complete. Hang in there!

It's great to see you back at the shipyard, Kevin.  Tedious work but it looks sharp.

Hi Kev, lovely smooth paint job my friend. Forgive me if I've missed it in an earlier posting but what paint did you use, did you spray or brush? Nice build mate. Waiting for your updates reminds me of when I was a kid waiting for my weekly comic. A good inspirational build

Beautiful work on her and the rework of the lanyards should make you very proud.  That was a major undertaking.

Goos afternoon, torn between lots of things today, F1 Race test match and Victory, so i have delayed watching the Race so that i can listen to the Cricket, Brilliant game

anyway - LOL subject to change the Gun-ports are finished, that for me is a big milestone, i have a couple of lanyards still to put away but the quarterdeck decoration still needs to be finished

so these might be the last few outside photo to be taken as she is going to be a handful to move outside as i start soon on the deck decoration, thank you all for likes and comments which have kept me going

Hi Kevin....Just now joining your Vic build.....my favorite, having built her twice. I go to bed each night looking at her in her glass case beside my bed.

You are doing a beautiful job, and I have enjoyed browsing through your build log. Very nice photography as well.
