  1. Your planking is looking good! I hope to use that method on my ship, but I won't need to add filler blocks, as she is a solid hull. As far as your question, I don't know. As for Naval Action, I have looked at it, and it looks to be of great quality. I do think that if I got it it would absorbe a lot of my time, but I'm still not sure.
  2. I have officially started a "To Build" list. Officially meaning on paper. This ship is on that list!
  3. Good luck with the fix! We all make mistakes, as I'm sure you already know ! Edit: Sorry, I posted this before the page reloaded with your new post on it.
  4. Those ratlines and shrouds look GREAT! As Mark said, that last picture really does them justice !
  5. Nice start! I've got MS bluenose plans, so maybe I'll follow in your footsteps someday. I hope you don't mind if I follow!
  6. The rigging looks great Sal! Are you planning to use the working sheaves to change the angle of the spars for a realistic and dramatic affect? If you do, I'm sure you'll make it look great!
  7. The anchor looks great! Nice method!
  8. Looks like your going to have fun with this . I will follow, of course.
  9. Yes, as well as add a second hole to simulate a sheave. I will look up block tumblers!
  10. Slowly but surely sanding and filling. This morning I modified one of my kit supplied blocks. It turned out better than it was before I worked with it, so that's a plus! When I get home, it's back to filling and sanding! That last photo is my favorite side of it.
  11. I agree, very good job Frank! A valuable reference point for sure!
