  1. Karl, that is some beautiful work.
  2. Oy, $4K. In my reincarnation, maybe
  3. If I was much sharper as a machinist (not even close), I might want one. What are the damages for that jewel?
  4. Good idea using the thin white scenery glue. The flags have nice folds.
  5. Joss, the rest of the series is just as good. I'm waiting for anything new from the author, although I suppose it will be at least a year or so before his next book is out.
  6. Nice work with the scribed wood for your cabins. Also like the layout for the clerestory.
  7. Sal, excellent how-to on the jibboom shaping and rigging. beautiful work. :)
  8. Jim, your build looks very good. Nice job.
  9. Yowzah! Congratulations on a job well done. A major milestone!
  10. Nice paint job there, Jack. The blue must be somewhat translucent to do it first. These are Ceramcoat paints ?
  11. Mike, your cutter is so crisp and clean. Masking is not one of my favorite things, but you have executed it to perfection. Great job!
  12. Try some kraft paper, the stuff they make paperbags with. It does have a very fine grit if you're trying to polish some paint. Test first!
  13. Nicely done Sal. I'll file that change of wood for my builds.
  14. Nicely done, Brian. Your Niagara is coming along quite nicely.
  15. Ah, my little chickadee - with apologies to W.C. Fields. (I'll go quietly now)
  16. Here you go, Jesse: The notes are mine, sizing the blocks. This plan is part of a practicum over on the MSB site as a Battle Station practicum. It's done in 1/32 scale.
  17. I'd like to follow along, too. Gonna hang with Mark, Grant and the rest of the gang.
