  1. Finally back after the road trip to find the amazing progress you have achieved Greg; she is looking the 'ants pants' with some amazing detail at that scale. Back to the plates under the cable; i would be very surprised if she did not have any. These acted as 'scotchmans' to protect the wood deck, or even thin deck plating, from the chain as it bounced around while being worked. You would be amazed at the damage that can be done from that. cheers Pat
  2. Very nice Russ; love that sail -it gives the model a great sense of proportion. cheers Pat
  3. Very nice mini-tutorial on setting up and preparing the blanks for carving Gaetan; look forward to seeing the results of your Autumn carving efforts. cheers Pat
  4. I have been on the road for a few weeks with limited internet access; but what a great update to comer back to Glenn. She is looking great and that 'mica' sure sets the windows off. Love the detail for the bunks, furniture etc. cheers Pat

  8. Absolutely stunning - great work yet again Glenn. That 'white' sets her off beautifully and the amount of detail shown compared to what you are leaving off is spot on; really gives a good impression of her inner and outer workings. cheers Pat

  24. Great progress Mark, she is really taking some definition now. I like your mill set-up, you can keep some great control of the cuts/passes with that and the result is proof of the pudding. Wat cutters do you use (manufacturer); that ball cutter seems very effective. The cheap one I have just does not pass muster. cheers Pat
  25. Just one word comes to mind - BEAUTIFUL Great work Gaetan! cheers Pat
