Looking good, Patrick.  The deck lines are coming out and showing what a beautiful yacht this is.

HI Frank

Many thanks for your lovely comment.  I'm not sure about the 'talented' bit, but I sure do love what I do.  As I've said in previous logs, there's something mesmerising and fascinating for me about building at these scales.

So much so, that I just can't help but love creating these teeny tiny boats.

Thanks once again.

Have a great week!

Cheers

Patrick

Hi everyone!

Thanks for all of your comments and Likes. Greatly appreciated!

This week, I've been too flat out to work on Shadow, until tonight. The first thing that I managed to do was to build the initial framework of the cabin on the Upper Deck. A lot of guess work has gone into it because the photos and plans that I'm relying upon don't show that much detail. But, nonetheless, at least I've managed to nut it out...I think!

Lots of work to go, though.

Anyhow, I'm just glad that she's beginning to take shape.

Have a great weekend, folks!

Cheers

Patrick

Beautiful, Patrick. Your ability to model at this small scale continues to amaze me.

Hi Frank

Many thanks...but, I swear, it's attributable to lots of glue, putty and a large dose of swearing!

Have a great week.

Cheers

Hi Gary

Many thanks and I greatly appreciate your compliments! I'm not sure about the 'master' tag.  I guess it just boils down to the fact that I love this hobby and in doing so, I love what I do.

Have a great week and welcome aboard.

Cheers and thanks

Patrick.

  • 2 weeks later...

Hi folks!

Just a quick update on Shadow.

I've been concentrating on getting the external superstructure built. So far, most of the general shape is there; well enough to see the beauty starting to come through.

Still heaps to go, but time's been limited lately.

Hopefully, I'll be able to get more time later.

Have a great weekend!

Cheers

Patrick
