Just had the most  frightening  Two - Three  Hours,   the admiral  started  having some really nasty  pains  in her chest in the region of her heart,  they would  come on  then go,  so  we rung  the out of hours  medical  help  and they  transfered us to the Ambulance  Paremedics  -  anyway cut a long story short  the  came came out to the house  to check her over.

She was wired up  first  checked her Blood pressure  - that was high  (but  she was  also having panic attacks  and hyper ventilating)  and worrying  expecting the worst,  then they  wired her  up and checked her heart  - that  was  normal,   they checked  her temp  - normal  and diabetic   that was high,    so it was  decided  not to go to hospital  but to  speak with her  doctor  instead.

Scarry Scarry  moment  for  her    and  myself.

Take care of her....

We think it  was a combination of things  -  her  blood oxygen  was  perfect  100%  her temp  was normal  her  heart  was normal   on the EG  machine,   but her  bllod pressure was quite high aswel as  her  diabetes  (she is  type 2 diabetic)   we think it  was  becuase of a spike in her diabetes  and hight blood pressure  (becuase she was pannicking)   that  this  might have caused it.

Good that she got a quick check by the paramedics, but like EG says, see your doctor(s) to really pinpoint her problem. I have some diabetic friends and they work really hard to control it's effects. Must be working, because they are in their mid 80s and going strong. Family first.

Good that the paramedics were called in, OC.  I take that their work helped calm her down?  And by all means, get the follow up with the docs.

She is sleeping now  which is  early  for her  as  she also suffers from  Restless Leg  Syndrome  and it  pays her  up  something rotten   stopping  her  sleep  till the early  hours,    part of the reason  why  I am  normally up till  so late.
