WackoWolf replied to edbardet's topic in Nautical/Naval History
I agree with Mark. I have seen other models and they almost have the same thing you are looking at. Here is one I have a picture of. In the left hand corner you will see one. -

Sometimes a person needs to take two steps backwards to go one step forward. Old saying, not mine LOL. You will get there in time, you know you can't go forward if it is in your head that something isn't right, and if you don't fix it now it will cause problems latter on down the line.

A fully Rigged Model Shipways Confederacy.......
WackoWolf replied to yvesvidal's topic in Wood ship model kits
She is a Beautiful ship, didn't have a good history. I fell in love with her the first time I seen a model of her at Bob Hunt open house some years back, and then Chuck model and of course Rusty's when he brought his to the show in Ct. And there is the one that was built by my good friend Ron from the club I belong to in CT. The bigger the scale the more Beautiful she looks (just my option). -

About the NRG
If you enjoy building ship models that are historically accurate as well as beautiful, then The Nautical Research Guild (NRG) is just right for you.
The Guild is a non-profit educational organization whose mission is to “Advance Ship Modeling Through Research”. We provide support to our members in their efforts to raise the quality of their model ships.
The Nautical Research Guild has published our world-renowned quarterly magazine, The Nautical Research Journal, since 1955. The pages of the Journal are full of articles by accomplished ship modelers who show you how they create those exquisite details on their models, and by maritime historians who show you the correct details to build. The Journal is available in both print and digital editions. Go to the NRG web site (www.thenrg.org) to download a complimentary digital copy of the Journal. The NRG also publishes plan sets, books and compilations of back issues of the Journal and the former Ships in Scale and Model Ship Builder magazines.
