  1. Great work, Augie. Now you can take the outboard motor off and use a proper propulsion system for brig. That is some seriously nice work on the yards. Enjoy the snowfall... I guess shoveling it is next?
  2. Grant, It's great to hear you're getting better. As Aldo says, alcohol is a great disinfectant.
  3. Alexandru, Thanks for posting this. It shows us mere mortals that even what we perceive as major errors can be fixed.
  4. Big models need big ideas to solve the problems. One of scale. You solved it in spades with that noodle idea. Oh.. and your daughter takes good pictures.
  5. Very nicely done... no gaps, clean, precise, sharp. Hmmm... out of words. Great job, Rusty!!
  6. Micklen, Here's a post on how to add more than one pic per post: http://modelshipworld.com/index.php?/topic/540-how-to-add-pictures-in-your-posts-and-pms/
  7. The first pic caused me to do a double-take, Kevin. Thought I was seeing the real thing you were comparing it to. Nice work, indeed.
  8. Lami, It's great to see this build come back. I'm looking forward to following it again.
  9. Wonderful carving. He looks great!! I agree with Steve, you shouldn't have a whole lot of problems with the ornamentation.
  10. Giorgio, Your English is fine and atrial fibrillation is also English.. I'm happy to hear that everything seems to be ok. Your work on the deck furniture is inspiring.
  11. Rebecca, I'm not sure if those are actually the capstan bars. Some models they are, in others, they're permanently attached to the deck to give the crew using the capstan some foot hold. IMO, it's just artistic license for them to be there.
  12. Floyd, Make a topic and post it here in this forum. We'll get it pinned so it will stay put.
  13. Matti, Looks like you are off to a great start. I see that you're already scratching things like gratings. As I recall, the Billings Wasa had plastic ones.
  14. Nice work, Rusty. I'm looking forward to seeing the frames raised.
  15. She's coming together nicely, Robbyn. Looks very clean and sharp with some great contrast on the woods.
  16. NIce work on the hull, guns, port lids, Sjors. Rigging can be fun just do what you've been doing... taking your time. As for the moderator police... pfffffft.
