Hello,

thanks for the encouragement, one and all!
Here is the continuation:

The first image shows all installation parts of the cutters.

On the next two images all built boats can be seen that I have built for the French corvette.
Only thing missing is the gig.

Johan, your work is exquisite, and your choice of music for your video is perfekt. Boccerini's Op 30, No 6 was for a string quartet. The Master & Commander people did it up as a serious duet, violin and cello. Incredible trnscription.

Hello,
thanks to all for your great feedback.
This is pure motivation.

After a short break I do with the cutters on.
Among other things, I have the mast gate arrangements still make.

Look at the pictures:

Johann,

You make it look so easy, and if I wouldn't know any better, I would guess it to be a lot larger ... seeing the detail in the wood and the metal!!!

Cheers

Hello,
thank you very much for the very nice comments and of course for all likes.
The installation of the gratings in the bow is finished.

Furthermore, I drilled holes for the nails on the planks. These holes are later filled with furniture wax.

It still lacks rudder.
Soon I will start with the last boat for the French corvette, the gig.

Johann,

Hi Johann, thank you for posting the pictures with the work in progress. When looking at the macro photographs it becomes easy to forget just how small these superb model are in their own right. When the tiny parts are part of the overall picture with your hand holding the very small drill while working on the "nails" It suddenly puts the whole thing into perspective.

Your photographs are both very inspiring and humbling, and also educational at the same time.
