HMS PEGASUS by giampieroricci - Scale 1:36 - Swan-Class Sloop from plans by David Antscherl & Greg Herbert

Might I suggest using pewter, not lead? Lead will deteriorate to lead salts over time. And that would be a pity on such a terrific model.

This is incredible detail for which you should be commended!    It gives one the feeling of the gentle swaying with the rolling of the ship.   Kudos!

I wish you could see the smile on my face Giampiero! You should slip a sleeping figure into one of the hammocks (out of site) for some future boroscope examiner to find.

Giampiero, the craziest thing just happened to me.  I went to an online thesaurus to find synonyms for the word "perfect" and the only thing it listed was a link to this build log!

Take care and be safe.

The gratings:

I have taken a little liberty in interpreting the fore hatch gratings as far as the passage of the elbows is concerned. I was inspired by the work done by Matiz on his Euryalus, although perhaps the eras are slightly different.
