    Hi Ray, I think it would reward you to remove all planking and fair the hull before planking otherwise the shape of the hull will never be right. Seems like you paid big $ for this kit. Steve

    Yes- I agree too. I would remove and add some glue before installing. You don't want bulkheads shifting while planking. It's a very long hull. No need to make it more difficult. ;-) Steve
