  1. Hi Ray, I think it would reward you to remove all planking and fair the hull before planking otherwise the shape of the hull will never be right. Seems like you paid big $ for this kit. Steve
  2. I am really excited that this is your new project. This should be cake compared to the beautifully tiny version you created for your Pegasus. I've barely started my Pinnace and am sure your build will be a great inspiration. Steve
  3. Very clean work as expected. Still hoping you don't paint this lovely plank work! Steve
  4. Here you go: https://modelshipworld.com/index.php/topic/13850-chucks-planking-videos/ Were are you at with your longboat? Steve
  5. I will follow too. I like this one for a first time scratch build some day. Steve
  6. Yes- I agree too. I would remove and add some glue before installing. You don't want bulkheads shifting while planking. It's a very long hull. No need to make it more difficult. ;-) Steve
  7. That looks good. Maybe I should start building mine. ;-) Steve
  8. Anxious to see how you line off your hull for the second planking with your vaneer strips. It'll be interesting to see this ship finished without copper plates as it usually is. Steve
  9. Very happy I looped in on this log. Nice deadeye production. Steve
