Thanks Lawerence...David B....Denis(Popeye).... Tony...Dimitris and Don for your comments, always appreciated....  just a little update as to the rigging. A lot of ropes are starting to accumulate    :D  and I'm still a little confused   as to where they're going to tye off at.........I think I'll just let them fall, and where ever they land is where their home will be :D....... just kidding. :P ..... I'll try to get some sembelence of order so it looks like I know what I'm doing :) Here's a couple pictures  showing the start of CONFUSION!!!

Looking absolutely wonderful Frank. The furled sails are pristine.

I was zooming in on your pics and realized how tall your Alert is. Had to scroll up to see that your build is 1:25 scale, nice. I've been living at 1:64 for months so it's nice to see larger pieces coming together.

Hi Frank

Great life like little boat!

From that last glances at your shipyard I conclude that you are allowed to work on the traditional kitchen table. Wow. But certainly for the dirty work (and there always seems to be a lot of it on your ships) you also have another place to go?

Serious question: How did you make the mast rings for the mizzen sail?

Cheers

Hey Frank,

"UP DATE TIME"......... I just finishd  up the main mast rigging and  put the name on the stern''''

looks like I got all of the ropes tied off to where they're supposed to be,if not I can always say the Capt. is trying out a new belaying plan. :P No major problems were encountered on this journey, (again, thanks to Dirks excellent build) The mizzen will be next, then I'll add the jib sails....... I still need to add ropes to the cleats and belaying pins, but that will be the last thing I do along with the oars, and the rope railing.

Thanks for look'n in!!

Hi Frank,

Who's been a busy boy then, knew you would sort out the belaying problem mate.

I love the rope jungle and the look of the way you have presented them, really good.

I still say she's due for a refit.!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay sane my friend.

Be Good

Hey thanks Michael......... I was thinking about carving those letters out of wood, I've got a couple Dremel's I thought I would use, but after finding the right size dry transfers I chucked that idea immediately :P The transfers worked out real well for me...glad you liked the result.

Man have I missed lots, not sure how. Frank you have done  some remarkable work since I last looked in. Your rigging has turned out great and the name on the stern looks so realistic, it is all just fitting together so good, going to end up as one beautiful build.

I think you need to develop a practicum on your "aging" process, I'll be your first customer ;)  :)  :) .

Have a Good day Frank

Just catching up - what a beautiful build Frank.  Absolutely love the naming on the stern!
