  3. Thanks everybody for the likes, as always, much appreciated, and inspiring! I feel for you Mark, but mine just uncrossed from the previous PE marathon session You give me more credit than you should ... you haven't seen it ... through an optivisor!! I am so jealous of your capability to exagerate mate, but thanks ... it feels so good ... --- Today shopping ... need to get me some building, paint, and weathering materials for the CRC-build. I might even finish the pompom if I get lucky ...
  4. Nice work Luponero You can remove the images selecting "edit" on the post, and then right click on the image you want to remove and select delete from the popup menu
  5. Gents, thanks for the likes and the positive comments Hello Pat. Good to have you with us. Hmmm ... viewing from a safe distance ... and I thought downunder was far enough ... now the back row as well ... Actually I would say I took a liking to the R.N ships ... a bit like British classic cars ... they've got soul ... I've started on the quad ... first breathless steps Drilling the holes to fit the barrels Need to take a breather ...
  6. You are wel versed in metalwork, especially at the scale you work it is stunning ( Shootoverloop = schootoverloop)
  7. So am I, Lou, so am I 3 weeks, but Xmas acts like a freight train riding backwards on postal delivery speed
  8. We all get older Jan ... I don't need 10 years to forget such details...
  9. Makes me itchy ... got some Ferrari's in the waiting room ... nice car you selected
  10. (tomorrow I read the missing pages of your build) missing = remaining Stevens build is indeed another gem at MSW. You may be interested in this build log as well. I have a question concerning the wood you prepare. How do you cut the initial branch/trunc to a smaller size which can be cut into wood for model building.
  11. Got the quad 2pdr pompoms today from North Star, just the parts cut from the brass "sprue" (saw I need to cut two more to make it complete) It's a resin and brass sub build I might say. Barrels in top left corner. To all a very happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year
  12. Kevin, Welcome aboard Everybody has his/her value in model building. You may encounter other problems which need other solutions. Don't be shy ... start a log. It is also the way to get advice, at least, if you want to be advised ... Besides you won't get rid of that lurking status if you do not start a build log ... Will it be Katoom AKA Kevin The Lurker ... P.s. It is also a way to get to know kindred spirits at the forum
  13. I'm looking for the easy way out mate, not the painful ... unlike you I'm not a glutton for punishment
