I have not been idle just building small models within the big one!The engines just the the engine I think I counted 74 parts not including the exhaust out the back, cowling, cowling covers and the front cowling probably right at 100+ pieces for each engine and only one done thus far.I notice a boo boo on the paint scheme all the glass framing was silver on the whole plane so a remask and paint was in order.I am also starting to work on the electric motor part with one of the wires being a hydraulic line for the landing gear.I think I found my mechanics kinda pricey but I think will work also received my Pilot/crew used ICM  cheaper and should do well .;) Kevin

The engine looks super, very realistic. I love those crew figures. Didn't realize ICM was doing 1:32 figures. That's a company that's come a long way over the past decade or so. A real commitment to quality.

Yeah they have CD I'll take a pic you have to put them together.I could not get the seven exhaust pipes from the front cyl to the back exhaust collar to connect so that engine will to be covered. The other engine I want open and need to figure out what I did wrong and I built it in their sequence I know to pay attention on the next one.Well I got the rod for the motor figured out and started the base inside the engine/gear bay going.Thks for looking in ;) Kevin

Moving along with the right wing I have for the most part am finished with the engine and have moved onto the LG.I had heard of another fella using the wire as the hydraulic lines so I settled on that with a slight in provision I skinned back the wire some and ran it through some brass tubing then slid the sheathing back over the wire and a slightly bigger brass piece cut and used as the coupler between the rubber/metal.I have another tubing to attach to the other side also of the LG as was in real life. ;) Kevin

PS;the wire goes into the wheel hub out the bottom of the tire and under the platform ;)

I started building the other line and I found out the malleability of the wire I was using was very very low for a single strand so back to wire box.I had  some commercial grade stuff about a foot long maybe a hundred strands together tried breaking it I couldn't but it's not insulated I will continue to think on that. So,what you see here is about 1/2 hrs of trial and error green painters tape and then thin CA applied to it I am about to paint this LG.;)

And it's often the case that sourcing the right materials is as much or more of a challenge than building it.

That and the thought process CD thinking the rubberized stuff for wiring once in the wheel and out.I stop here today I think I wish now I would of took a pic before the gear hit the WW for the rubber hose part at least I know it's there I will take a pic of the L/LG.The motor works had to turn the plastic shaft into it's own lathe for a moment or two with a sanding stick then a touch of white lithium all's good now.I have some paint touch-ups nothing major and clear to blend.Oh I used a flat silver on the LG with SNJ rubbed in for the shock I am using this technique more and more.;) Kevin

Well I have not stopped working I seem to feel better later in the day so I have been working on props. What we have here is the kit prop, aftermarket which I do not care for and kit prop re-shaped.I think a little more shaping on the backside of the prop and it will be good to go still alittle fat.The after market props have defects in the face and are so frigg'in thin I can bend them so I cannot sand out the defects. The other problem if they go to rotate the blades will begin to move and flatten out possibly.I am about 50% through engine #2.

So I paid $30 for some templates :P Kevin

Good to hear that you are doing better at least some of the time Kevin, and that you are negative for the virus. hopefully your lung will clear up quickly as well. I was hospitalized for about a week a few years ago for much the same thing and the complications it caused so I have an idea just how hard it can hit you. Take care of yourself and get well soon.
