  1. Rigging actually is fun, although sometimes very repititious. It really is when things start to look like a ship though.
  2. Kim, the current paint configuration for the mast rings is white, the same as the mast itself. I did mine in black for contrast, and I had seen some models showing this. I just did mine that way, with no historical decisions. I have pictures if needed.
  3. I found that sanding sealer worked great for preparing the lower planking for applying the copper tape. It gives a good finish so that the copper doesn't show the grain or imperfections in the wood surface.
  4. Hi Geoff, trip has been going well. Really enjoyed seeing all the ships and maritime museums along the way. Hope all is well.
